As a professional writer and full-time mother, I get to make up stories every day. Since I was born and raised in Michigan’s Thumb, most of my tall tales are set in much warmer climates with nary a traffic cone in sight, but my latest story is set not far from Detroit. I am currently seeking publication for my debut novel, a women’s fiction book, and I hope to have more information on that soon.

Since 2014, I have been involved with the Michigan chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Over the years, I have run several writing critique groups across multiple genres. I graduated from MSU with a BA in Professional Writing, specializing in Digital Technical Writing, and a minor in Japanese.
